"The Angel in Red" is a short, experimental documentary by Cara Myers, founder of Vespera Films (v-films.tv), that tells a universal message about death in an emotionally driven, and uplifting way through dance. Nannette Rogers-Kennedy shares the true story of losing her mother, who before death, promises to come back to visit her as a Cardinal. Two weeks later, her mother keeps her promise in the most profound and undeniable way. Featuring music by renowned British composer, Max Richter, who’s film work includes Ari Folman’s 2007 Golden Globe-winning “Waltz with Bashir” and Martin Scorsese’s “Shutter Island,” "The Angel in Red" is a heart-stopping experience that can expand your perception of death.

About Cara Myers:
Cara is a seasoned, Emmy Award-winning editor and filmmaker who began her creative journey at a young age as a dancer. Upon discovering the revelation of experimental film at the Kansas City Art Institute, her storytelling transformed from stage to screen, and she has been blazing her career path ever since.

Cara founded her video production company, Vespera Films (v-films.tv), using the root word “vesper” (“evening prayer” in Latin) as a basis for the company’s concept. She invests in future generations by mentoring, speaking publicly and teaching workshops to cultivate the legacy of what she believes is the most powerful medium on earth. Cara brings a passionate, authentic demeanor and heart-centered approach to her profession and hopes to change the world with transformational films.
